This pattern includes instructions for an inlaid or reverse applique technique using machine applique and machine quilting.  The pattern has also been drawn with a central broken line which can be used as a guide for a bias binding applique technique using a machine or stitching by hand.  It can also be used as a design for traditional hand applique.
