This is a fun quilt to shop for and plan.  The fabrics that work best are marbles, tone on tones, fabrics that work as solids or very small prints.  If you use solid fabrics it is harder to make a smooth transition between the colors.  Look for fabrics that have multiple colors like oranges and yellows or blues and purples within the same fabric.  These are great transition colors.
