When embroidering any design that contains multiple colors, it's a common practice to line colors up in stitching order.  Many designs repeat colors, often more than once, making it a challenge to keep a proper color lineup.  Project trays are a clever solution!  The wood base is lined with dry-erase material and numbered cut outs from 1 to 24 in the wood base are designed for most 1,000-meter thread cones.  Repeated colors get their own slot in the stitching order, labeled by name or number on the dry erase base using the included dry erase marker.
